🌸 Set Apart Homemaking for The Daughters of Israel + The Watered Womanhood Podcast: Biblical Femininity

Winter has been asking me to slow down, and I fina Winter has been asking me to slow down, and I finally listened.
Less rushing. Fewer screens. More quiet moments on the floor, at the table, in the kitchen, and with the Lord.

The slowness, monotony, and boredom of winter is where presence is restored and rhythms are reset.

If you’ve been feeling the nudge to move slower too, I wrote more about it.

Even as the grass withers and the flower fades, we Even as the grass withers and the flower fades, we are not left without an anchor. Seasons change. People pass. Wars rise and fall. The world decays exactly as it was written it would.

Yet Yahuah remains the same: steady, faithful, untouched by time.

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, ✨️with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”✨️ — James 1:17

To my sisters weary from watching the world unravel: this instability is not a surprise to Elohai. The prophets spoke of it. Scripture prepared us for it. What feels frightening was already foretold—and so was His faithfulness. Hold fast to what does not fade. The Word still stands. And so do you, when you stand in Him.

The Most High is Trustworthy in the big and the sm The Most High is Trustworthy in the big and the small things.

I have resisted YHWH's "micromanaging" of my affairs. It seems like every time I do ANYTHING, I can hear the Holy Spirit:

"Don't buy that." "Add this ingredient instead." "Do your hair this way."

I find myself wondering, is this really God? Does God really care about the way I season my food, do my hair, or the stationery addiction I have (whoops)?

The short answer is yes. In fact, all these little things comprise the daily fabric of our lives.

He doesn't just care about the major life milestones-- where we will live, where we work, growing your family.

He also cares about your sleep, your beauty routine, your mundane homemaking rhythm.

It's taken me a few years to get to a place where I fully understand and accept that I can TRUST Him, not just when I need something big, but when I need something small as well.

And every single time I heed the Holy Spirit, whether it's for my meals or my presentation, it always turns out better than it would had I leaned on my own understanding.

What's that tiny area of your life you're not quite ready to fully submit just yet?
While it's great to have confidence, appreciation While it's great to have confidence, appreciation of your blessings, and joyful about where Yah has brought you, He also instructs us to love one another.

We can't do that with pride in our hearts.

Every Shebrew has her own path, journey, and trials. Walking in the truth means that we are always more concerned with the plank in our own eyes, than we are with the splinter in someone else's.

We may believe we have rank, honor, status, and favor. And perhaps we do. Some of us have a great home, a happy marriage, well-adjusted children, a promising career. Some may be in a season of struggle, have a marriage on its last leg, children who disgrace us, with little in our bank accounts.

No matter where we are, this is the truth for all of us: Yahuah is not done with you. We still have growing to do. We still have works to do, and one of these works is humility and service.

Live in harmony with one another and do not be haughty. Harmony implies you understand your role and position, and you don't assume its higher than someone else's just because their path is different.

Focus on how you can serve, not sever.
